Luke 8 starts with teaching, but this will be followed by several amazing examples of Christ’s power. Jesus will encourage us to share the word with hope and to trust him when things begin to look hopeless.

In Luke 7, we get several stories that all point to Christ’s divine identity, revealing his power over sin, disease and even death. Response to him will be divided. Some see their need for him while others do not.
If we had to pick one chapter in the New Testament that we could read to get the quickest summary of the Christian faith and life, it might be Luke 6.
