On the first day of the week, some followers of Jesus went to the tomb and found it empty. Later that day he appeared to the to show them he was alive.

Luke 10 – Verse by Verse
Christ has now turned from Galilee toward Jerusalem. In this chapter Luke gives us some stories not found in the other Gospels, such as sending the seventy (two) and the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
Mark 7 Verse by Verse
Jesus will address issues of tradition and ceremonial uncleanness, which were very important to Jewish life. He will also go out to Gentile areas and begin a ministry to people there.
