Palmer St. Podcast: The Big Picture

This is a “big” chapter for two reasons:

  1. It repeatedly uses the Greek word megas, meaning “big, great, grand, loud or large.”
  2. It gives us the “big picture,” of the age-old angelic struggle and how the nation of Israel fits in, especially at the time of the end.

Palmer St. Podcast: The Middle of the Week

Back in the Old Testament, in Daniel 9:27, we first observed that a coming prince will make a seven-year agreement with the nation of Israel, perhaps among others.  In the middle of that “week” he will break his agreement with them.  We are now at a spot in Revelation where we can begin to see how that “week” is divided.

Palmer St. Podcast: The Servants of Our God

We left off at the end of Revelation 6 with a question, namely, “For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Rev 6:17) Today’s chapter will answer that question.

Palmer St. Podcast: 1 Corinthians 10 (Nate Medlong)

The Israelites saw God do amazing things in the Exodus from Egypt.  That didn’t mean they would be powerfully used by God from that time forward.  As it happened they succumbed to various forms of temptation and disqualified themselves from their ministry.  Nate Medlong gives us Paul’s explanation in this chapter.
