At this point in the story John gives us a glimpse – a sneak preview – of what lies ahead. We’ll see how everyone will ultimately have to choose sides. Everyone.

Palmer St. Podcast: The Big Picture
This is a “big” chapter for two reasons:
- It repeatedly uses the Greek word megas, meaning “big, great, grand, loud or large.”
- It gives us the “big picture,” of the age-old angelic struggle and how the nation of Israel fits in, especially at the time of the end.
Palmer St. Podcast: The Middle of the Week
Back in the Old Testament, in Daniel 9:27, we first observed that a coming prince will make a seven-year agreement with the nation of Israel, perhaps among others. In the middle of that “week” he will break his agreement with them. We are now at a spot in Revelation where we can begin to see how that “week” is divided.
