To say the least, Hosea has an unhealthy marriage. Israel has an unhealthy relationship with God. The book also provides a background against which we can examine our own faith.

Prompted by the prophecies of Jeremiah, Daniel turns to prayer. The result is further prophetic insight.

Daniel and his friends are taken from Judah to Babylon. They now have to learn how to live in this new, and foreign, environment.
