Last week, on Wednesday, March 8, Dan Kane led the group through Week 2 of 12 in our “Make Disciples.” series. During the 12 weeks, we are addressing areas on a comprehensive discipleship map. After discussing each area, we will try to establish Milestones that would provide evidence of personal spiritual growth – markers that we work toward.

The Letters of Paul
Paul knew that his life and ministry were coming to a close. In his last words to his apprentice Timothy, he emphasizes the Scriptures.
“Joy is the serious business of heaven.” – C. S. Lewis, in Letters to Malcolm
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
Jerusalem was destroyed. The exiles who returned now had to rebuild the city beginning with the Temple. We might compare this to rebuilding after 9/11 or any of the personal “Ground Zeroes” that tragically upend our lives.
