God had a word for those who were now in Babylon. As it happens it is especially relevant to Christians in our place and time.

Isaiah prophesies regarding the ancient king of Babylon. In one portion of the prophecy, the church has historically seen something more.


Today’s chapter deals with the destruction of the great city Babylon and brings together numerous prophecies from the Old Testament. The encouragement for God’s people is that they should all leave the city. We’ll see what that means for us today.
