Palmer St. Podcast: 2 Corinthians 6

We come to Christ from a variety of backgrounds. When Jesus enters the picture, He needs to be allowed to take over so completely that our primary identity is formed by Christ, our relationship with Him and the others who form His body here on earth. Paul warns us in this chapter not to be “unequally yoked” or tied to the non-Christian world so tightly that our loyalties become divided.

Palmer St. Podcast: 2 Corinthians 4

The Christian life as an obstacle course with many things to overcome on the way to the finish line. It’s important for us to realize that we have the spiritual resources available to us to complete the course successfully. God places his treasure in us, his earthen vessels; don’t underestimate the value of that treasure.

Palmer St. Podcast: 2 Corinthians 2:14 – 3:18

We have a supremely high calling, an important assignment, as Paul tells us today, to carry the fragrance of Christ to the world. If we don’t feel inadequate to some degree, then we don’t understand the assignment that God has given us.  The ability to do that has to come from God Himself. That’s the point Paul tries to make to the Corinthian church today.
