We are in the throne room of heaven. The Lamb appears and takes a seven-sealed scroll from the hand of the Father. All of creation worships Him.

We are about to enter into the heart of Revelation: the prophecies given to John regarding future events. This third and longest section begins with John going to heaven and witnessing the activity in what appears to be the very throne room. It is a scene filled with worship.

The letter to the church in Laodicea: Picture yourself in the ballroom of the Titanic. The surroundings are elegant. The people are elegant. The entertainment, the music, the food – all elegant. But nobody in that ballroom knew the end of the story as we do today. On its maiden voyage in April of 1912, the ship hit an iceberg. Within hours the ship was underwater and most of its passengers died.
